Phil Collins - A Groovy Kind of Love
Keith and I went to see Oliver & Company in late November. He bought that chihuahua for me. (I kept it until fairly recently) In the movie he said "Chain Me to the Walls." I thought it was so cute!
Don had free SNEAK tickets to see Twins. - eh (my review)
At Thanksgiving, I met a few of his family I hadn't met yet. We ate at Ed & Alene's house and later we went to my parents' house for pie.
Keith and I saw Scrooged together. Though it was kind of silly, it was a lot of fun and we had a great time!
It snowed a couple of times that December. One time we went to a Chris Christian concert at SMU with the Flying Solo class (our group.) We thought they'd cancel, but they didn't. At the end of the concert, Chris Christian had people come up onstage since there weren't many of us that actually attended. IT WAS SOOO FUN! (I swear Keith went, but he doesn't remember it at all.)
Another time in the snow, many of Keith's buddies - Don, Chris Knagg, Steve Poarch, Charlie Robinson (and more?) played football in the snow. It was really, REALLY cold so I ended up sitting in his truck listening to A Groovy Kind of Love. To this day, it reminds me of that fun time!

Christmas Eve we went to the Wallick's (which we have done every year ever since..) I hung out with the little kids mostly - more than the adults. I pulled a little Erica around in a wagon almost the whole time with other kids taking turns. They were all sooo cute! (2022 - Always have felt at home with kiddos)
That Christmas morning, I went to Keith's house and we exchanged gifts. I gave him a nice CD player (they were pretty new then) and he bought me .... I opened a red velvet box -- was it an engagement ring? No - but it was a beautiful ruby ring. Once I understood, pretty quickly, that it was "just" a ring, I absolutely loved it! -- Don't think I was ready... yet... Or was I?
