We saw Dominic & Eugene, a wonderful movie with superb acting!
Then we went to eat at El Fenix in Casa Linda. Always loved that restaurant and location. We just talked and talked without missing a beat. We talked about what we expect from marriage, church and what we think our (own) future holds. At one point, we became silent. Very silent. Then we both demurely smiled at each other… “This is serious - this may actually be the person I am going to marry." I thought… BUT - I definitely had my walls up and never admitted it to anyone or myself for some time.
After our silence, we just smiled at each other - and of course, lo’ and behold! Keith says “You have spinach in your teeth.” I quickly closed my mouth and started laughing SO much - then ran to the bathroom.
When I came back, I chuckled and said “Well, with you, I know I’ll get the truth no matter what. Other guys would’ve let me keep that spinach for later - lol - and I HATE that!” Then we told embarrassing stories about ourselves and had a good laugh.

Riding back to my apartment he reached over with his arm and strongly pulled me in by his side. It was very masculine and strong. I remember feeling really wanted.
Anne Murray - Could I Have this Dance?
Keith really likes country - even Anne Murray

The first week at Blockbuster went really well!! My boss, Brad, cusses a lot though - not sure what to do about that. He's pretty nice though and fair. I like my duties which are helping Brad look through upcoming movies and I enter them into the computer with their theatrical release, and then their video release. On Fridays I'm able to take a "soon to be released" movie or even 2 or 3 home for the weekend!
When I left from work my first day there, I came out to find a yellow carnation stuck in my windsheld wipers with a note that said "Hope you had a great first day!" I smiled SO BIG to myself, got in the car and was thrilled to only have 3 blocks to drive to get to Keith!!

Keith and I have seen many movies lately with Don - some sneak previews. Those are really fun because Don, and sometime Mark Noack are there along with other movie buffs in the Dallas area. One movie I really liked was BIG with Tom Hanks. I used to watch him all the time on Bosom Buddies and then he was in Splash, directed by Ron Howard - soooo cute!

We also saw Crocodile Dundee II - Entertaining but not as good as the first.

Elaine and I went together to see Bull Durham. We hated it! Elaine is my only friend (like me) who is waiting til her wedding night. We thought that movie was scummy!
Today we went with the Flying Solo Class to Six Flags. Keith had to work all night - so he met us there and told me to meet him at the Carousel. I hauled Cathy with me to go meet him. She kinda whispered to me… “I think Keith may be dating someone.” I laughed and said “You think?” “IT’s ME!” She was shocked. Love me some Cathy!
We had lots of fun but Keith can’t ride roller coasters (too much) because he gets motion sickness. He did ride the mine train and all other rides - and he was a LOT of fun! Whooping & Yelling and making us laugh!
(2022 comment - To this day, Keith won’t fly on an airplane because of motion sickness… )

Don had 4 passes to see Who Framed Roger Rabbit (sneak preview)
It was at Northpark Mall Theatre
And the line was around the theatre. I haven't seen a line this long since Star Wars. It was well made, clever and just fun!!
Sherri went with us !!
(2022 comment - Star Wars #1 - Roger Rabbit and then recently American Sniper are the only 3 movies I remember having such a long line.)
