March 10, 1983

Today is Thursday. One more day and I’ll have a week of vacation. Hip Hip Hooray!

I went to class Tuesday, and found out that Bob (my teacher), wasn’t in class last Thursday, so my absence wasn’t recorded. I have only been absent two times then. Right now, I feel extremely ill, like I’m going to throw up. I ate too much cake. I haven’t eaten any, zilch, sugar for two weeks and today i had two big pieces of chocolate fudge cake. I really do feel sick. I guess all that immediate sugar in my system reacted funny. If I don’t feel better by the time I get off work, I’ll stay home tonight and go to bed early. I haven’t had a good night's rest, in ages.

I finished the collaborated biography of Henry Fonda yesterday. That was really a good book. I love biographies and autobiographies. I’ve read:

1) Spencer Tracy

2) Lauren Bacall

3) Vivien Leigh

4) Henry Fonda

And I’ll be sure and read more.

(2021 comment - Best biography EVER was Vivien Leigh's... Really enjoyed James Garner & Dick Van Dyke's autobiography... Shirley Temple - great and Peter Lawford's was all about Rat Pack and the Kennedy's - very insightful)

Right now, I’m reading Summer and Smoke by Tennessee Williams. It seems to be very good so far. Of course, he is always excellent.

Thirty more minutes and I’ll go home for a week of vacation. YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to see Roger a lot. I want to go to Six Flags.
