MAY MEMORIES Pt. 3

May 28, 1981 Thursday

Today I went to Ft. Worth for 1st day of orientation for work. I only have to go one more time. What a drag!

Tomorrow nite is Roger Cook’s birthday. Kevin Q, Cam, Mark, Bradley, Kathleen maybe Dee Ann, Mike & Vera & I are going to see Outland and then to Chili’s.

I’ve GOT to see Carl & figure out how I feel about him. It’s gonna be real strange. I hope we can talk comfortably. (I hope he works tomorrow nite).

Gotta go!

I have to be up at 7:30, & it’s 1:30 a.m.

MAY 29, 1981 Friday

Today Greg & I went to Ft. Worth to run some errands. I got paid for full day’s work & I got a 2 hour lunch!

Tonite Cam, Dee Ann, Mark, Roger, Kevin Q, Randy McGeehee, Sherri, Bradley & Kathleen & I went to see Outland with Sean Connery. It was real good. I love Sean Connery. He’s sexy.

Afterwards, we went to Chili’s (where Carl, of course, works). But tonite “No Carl.” I was upset. I was really looking forward to seeing him. Besides, I want to see how I still feel about him. I know I still carry a torch, but I don’t ever know how much until I see him again.

Randy kept flirting with me, as usual. He told me that he'd like to become serious with me. I told him I’m not gonna do that for a long time. When you really think about it, I’m constantly getting serious over someone & messing things up. For instance (this is lifetime boyfriends, whether real loves, crushes, or simply boyfriends).

May 31, 1981 Sunday

Last nite I had a blast at Cam’s party. Cam & I had talked again. He knows more about me than I thought. I’m glad.

Today Denny called & invited me over to go swimming. I’m probably gonna go tomorrow after Cam & I go shopping.

Dee Ann spent the nite tonite. We’ve had fun. She’s sound asleep now. We listened to some tapes of Alex & me. They’re funny.

Gotta go!!
